Today, AXA insurance agents are faced with difficulties when providing their clients with AXA national products to cover risks situated outside their home country. The creation of a contact network between AXA agents established in Europe could facilitate those kinds of activities. The European Association of national organisations of AXA agents has therefore decided to set up a European Directory of AXA insurance agents which should facilitate cross-border collaboration between the concerned AXA insurance agents.
The objective of this European Directory is to enable any AXA insurance agent who registers in it to:
▪ make himself/herself known to other AXA European agents
▪ find information in the Directory about a colleague who operates in the country where the risk to be covered is situated
▪ propose a cooperation agreement to that colleague

The Directory is an information tool, developed and managed by POI aisbl. It is only accessible by a password.
Who can register in the Directory ?
Only AXA insurance agents who are members of one of the members of the European Association of national organisations of AXA agents (i.e. Réussir (France), USV (Germany), Confederazione dei Gruppi Aziendali Agenti Axa (Italy), CLUB DIÁLOGO de agentes generales AXA (Spain), Generalagenten Vereinigung AXA Winterthur (Switzerland)) can register in the Directory by filling in a registration form. The data you provide in this form will be available in the Directory.
Conditions
The following terms are applicable when registering in the European Directory of AXA insurance agents:
▪ By registering in the Directory, you explicitly authorise POI aisbl to process (1) all the data provided in the registration form, in accordance with the Belgian law on the protection of privacy of 8 December 1992, modified by the law of 11 December 1998 (2). Also, you explicitly authorise POI aisbl to put this data at the disposal of all those inside and outside the European Union, who have access to the Directory and who can use this data within the framework of the activities of the European Associations of national organisations of AXA agents (see above-mentioned objectives).
▪ Those who have access to the data may not, in any circumstances whatsoever, download, copy, publish, transfer or sell the data to third parties. The data may not be used, on any occasion, for commercial purpose
▪ The user name and password given to the person who registers so that he/she can access the Directory are strictly confidential and cannot be passed on to third parties. In the case of a company, the person who enters his/her name in the registration form will be responsible for the use of the access code and the use of the data in the Directory.
▪ Whilst the information for the Directory is gathered with suitable care, it is only published as a matter of documentation. The information is provided by members of the European Association of national organisations of AXA agents or by those who register in the Directory. POI cannot therefore assume any responsibility as to the overall accuracy of this information. Those who register declare that the data and information they provide in the registration form are correct. They have the possibility to have their data corrected at any time. ▪ User names and passwords to access the Directory are provided with suitable care to those who have registered, but POI cannot assume any responsibility as to the overall security of the access.
▪ Although POI works with partners who provide high security database solutions, data transmission over the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be totally secure. POI, therefore, highly recommends not to provide information which is considered confidential or sensitive.
▪ Should you have the impression that someone is abusing the information provided in the Directory, please contact the POI Secretariat, avenue Albert Elisabeth 40, B-1200 Brussels or send an e-mail to poi@skynet.be
▪ The European Associations of national organisations of AXA agents and their members will have access to the information contained in the Directory.
▪ POI reserves the right to modify or suspend the extranet services (or a part of it) in order to ensure the maintenance of the system.
▪ POI does not guarantee that the electronic network will be free from technical interruptions. If you are faced with technical difficulties, please contact the POI Secretariat.
▪ Hyperlinks to other sites may be available in the Directory. These hyperlinks and their contents are the entire responsibility of those who created them and POI shall have no responsibility or liability for the content of any such sites.
▪ The registered persons and those who have access to the Directory accept to use the information contained in the Directory at their own risk and responsibility. POI aisbl will, in no way, be held liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which may arise from the direct or indirect use of the information in the Directory.
▪ POI may at any time suspend access to the Directory. If this is the case, you will be informed about it and your data in the Directory will be erased. Possible reasons for this suspension can be the non-compliance with access conditions or with the objectives of POI aisbl.
▪ By registering, you accept the terms and conditions of use of the Directory.
▪ The person whose name appears in the box "contact person" will, in principle, be responsible for the registration, the update and use of the Directory. Writing your name will be considered the same as signing.
